This edition contains a selection of 30 possible definitions for the term “artists’ book”. These definitions cover a time between the 1970’ and the present. The quotations included in this book are in the original language in which they were published. The title “If it walks like a duck and it talks like a duck it’s a duck” is an appropriation of the definition of artists’ book presented by Laurence Weiner in 1989 and published by Umbrella magazine the year after.
