  • Media: offset, one colour (blue), stapled. All the copies were stamped in different colours with Oficina do Cego’s stamp and other rubber stamps made by Isabel Baraona and José Feitor.
  • Synopsis: Isabel Baraona was the third editor invited to produce the Jornal da Oficina do Cego. The design was conceived by Cláudia Dias. This is a thematic issue on the idea of collection and what implies (or can be) to edit and to publish. José Bátolo presents o livro do meio and approaches what is the role of the editor, Luísa Barreto explains the method behind “Cartilha Maternal de João de Deus”, Pedro V. Moura elaborates an idea on the ABC, Sara Figueiredo Costa gives us some personal notes on her experience as journalist and book’s critic. Filipe Leal de Faria introduces the urban sketchers, Eduardo Salavisa explains his interest on artists’ and architects’ notebooks. Amir Brito Cadôr, Ana João Romana, Catarina Figueiredo Cardoso and Catarina Leitão describe the pleasure of collecting artists’ books. Poem by Manuel de Freitas, “Sonic Youth”, 2010. José Feitor, Luís Henriques, Isabel Baraona, Paulo Leal, Filipe Leal de Faria, Eduardo Salavisa, André Lemos, Bárbara Rocha, Rui Carvalho and Tamara Alves made the drawings. Tiago Baptista published an original comic, the story of a mud-man who comes out of a painting to discuss with its’ anxious painter.The loose-leaf sheet reproduces a drawing by Paulo Leal.
